Practice Vision

Our Vision

Is to work in partnership with the wider community and to provide excellent healthcare to improve the health and wellbeing of the local population.

We aim to achieve this through:

Teamwork

Our primary focus is ensuring that the needs of our patients are always paramount and work together within the surgery to provide the best care for our patients. We will involve patients in all aspects of their care and will liaise with other agencies, NHS colleagues, families and carers to achieve what it best for the patient. We will work with our local community resources to provide care closer to home.

Inclusive

We have a diverse patient population, and we want to ensure that our services are open to all patients regardless of their religion, ethnicity, gender, age, cultural beliefs, sexual orientation or disability. Everybody matters so everybody must count.

Respect and Dignity

We value each person as an individual and respect their wishes and aspirations, whether they are patients, their families, carers, staff or visitors. We will listen to their concerns and needs and will act accordingly. We will endeavour to be honest and open so that there is clear communication in regards to what we can and cannot do

Caring

We strive to be a caring practice by listening and conveying compassion while assessing and responding to needs. We understand that everyone patient’s needs are different so we will listen and will try to assist as much as we can.

Commitment to Quality of Care

We aim to provide a high standard of care which will be delivered in a safe and effective manner. We encourage feedback to help us improve as a patient centred service by allowing patients to be proactively involved in the development of the surgery through PPG meetings and listening to the views of their carers and families. We understand the trust placed in us and will maintain the confidentiality of patient records and information at all times

Making a Difference

We endeavour to continually improve our services and practices by acting upon feedback and learning from mistakes so that we can provide a better experience for all users of our services. We will uphold high standards of professionalism and will encourage and help our patients on their journey to health and wellbeing.
