For your information

Farnham Dene Medical Practice has two sites - one within Farnham Centre for Health near the centre of Farnham and the other in the Lower Bourne area just outside of Farnham.

Farnham Centre for Health has plenty of free parking, with a number of disabled bays. Access to the Practice is through the hospital main atrium, which has wide automatic opening doors with flat access into the building. From the atrium, there is a push button to automatically open the door into the Practice. The push button is at eye level for wheelchair users.

Once inside the practice the reception desk has both high and low levels, suitable for all visitors.

Access to reception, waiting room and all consulting rooms are possible with a wheelchair. However there is no automatic opening on the door from the waiting room to the clinical rooms, so please advise a member of the reception staff if you require assistance with this.

An accessible toilet is located near the consulting rooms, and is fitted with grab rails as well as an alarm.

Patient areas of the Practice are all on ground floor level with no stairs or steps to access.

A hearing induction loop is available at reception upon request.

Guide Dogs are welcome.

Interpreters can be arranged on request.

The entire practice is non-smoking.

There is a private area for nursing mothers available in the hospital atrium.

All documents can be made available in easy read format if required. Please just ask a member of staff.

Lower Bourne Surgery is situated off lodge Hill Road in the Lower Bourne area of Farnham. Parking is limited and on a steep slope, however there is a disabled parking space on level ground directly by the entrance.

There is a small kerb lip (less than 1 inch) outside the building. The entrance to the surgery is via wide automatic opening doors with level flooring. Once inside, there is a set of double doors, one of which is always left open.

The reception desk has both high and low levels, suitable for all visitors.
